Padilla Signs With Revs, Myette Leaves Club: Jim Seip is reporting that the Revolution signed former Mets reliever Juan Padilla, and starting pitcher Aaron Myette has left the team in order to allow a lingering ankle injury to heal. Here’s a link:

Hall Signs With Rockies: The Atlantic League always has its share of weird stories throughout the season. And here’s another one.

Jason Guarente is reporting that the Colorado Rockies have signed Lancaster P Josh Hall and assigned him to Triple-A.

What’s weird about it is that Hall was released by the Nationals earlier this year after failing to put up good numbers in Double-A. So it’s a little odd that he’d get picked up by another team in the same year and get sent a level higher.

But anyway, he was 6-3 with a 4.10 ERA for the Barnstormers. – MA
