The Solution Comes To York: Former long-time Patriots reliever Saul Solveson has signed with the York Revolution, and made his debut last night by pitching a perfect inning.

Solveson, inexplicably out of the league for most of the season, joined the Patriots for the second half in 2005 and quickly emerged as one of the club’s most reliable relievers in their run to a third Atlantic League championship.

He also pitched well for the 2006 and 2007 versions of the Patriots, and should be a solid addition to the Revolution bullpen. – MA
