Barnstormers Add Evans, Set To Add Scobie: According to Jason Guarente, the Lancaster Barnstormers have signed INF Joe Evans.

Evans has no prior professional experience and Guarente writes he hit .222 during his final season at Vanderbilt.

As far as signings that aren’t anywhere near as ridiculous, the team is also in discussions with P Jason Scobie.

The 29-year-old righty has pitched in both the Mets and Blue Jays systems, and went 15-7 with a 3.34 ERA for Norfolk just three years ago. – Mike Ashmore

I think Evans was an utility player

Lancaster MUST improve to keep up
