Donnelly Implicated In Mitchell Report: P Brendan Donnelly, who appeared in three games for the Nashua Pride in 1999 while the franchise was still a member of the Atlantic League, has been named in the Mitchell Report.

Donnelly’s name surfaced in a series of internal Red Sox e-mails that were obtained by Mitchell, in which several Red Sox front office members refer to Donnelly as a “juice guy” and that they hadn’t heard good things about him in that regard.

Patriots Spring Plans Remain Unchanged: According to a Somerset Patriots team official, their plans to hold 2008 spring training at the Jack Cust Baseball Academy remain unchanged despite the implication of Jack Cust, Jr. in the Mitchell Report. – Mike Ashmore
