Mikkelsen Not Sharp In Loss: Right now, the current plan appears to be to have Lincoln Mikkelsen start game three against Camden in the playoffs.

The current plan also involves him pitching a lot better than he did last night.

Last year’s Pitcher of the Year struggled through six innings, allowing six runs (four earned) on eight hits. He walked four, and also hit two batters in the 7-4 loss.

It’s worth noting that Anthony Ferrari pitched again tonight, so it seems like he’s being prepped for a bullpen spot in the playoffs, as reported yesterday… – MA

Seems strange to see Mikkelson in a Pats uni. Also,I get a kick out of Ferrari’s unusual delivery.

Last nights Ducks – York game was a thriller, with Jared Price hitting a walkoff homer in the bottom of the 10th! Congrats to him. For York, Justin Singleton hit a monster bomb that cleared the stadium. Kelly Hunt had a very tough day going 0 for 5 with 5 K’s…eek

Atlantic League box scores are still a mess. Fleming Baez got credited for Benito Baez yet again. Who is in charge of these? Can we contact them? It makes the league look second rate.

I think it’s the individual “official scorers” who submit the box score info.

I’m still reeling over the 8/14/07 Ducks vs. Bpt box score being screwed up. It has C. Dionys getting hit by a pitch in the 2nd inning (duh) and Beech going 4 innings. No mention of Berger. Stuff like that just irritates me no end. A box score is a historical record of a game: and they should be accurate.

yes, I mean these players stats are their resume to get back to affiliated ball. Its enough to give second thought to coming to the league. I mean the Road Warriors stats are still a mess.

6. BoosterBabe - September 16, 2007

completely agreed.
Not to mention, in the case of 8/14/07, it could have been admitted as evidence. But it’s not accurate.
I hate sloppiness like that.

Hoorelbeke just hit his 33rd home run of the season!!!!
Very happy for him. Wish he’d get those few extra RBIs so he could have made 100.

Benito Baez also was credited with catching and playing third base earlier this year, instead of Fleming Baez. Omar Garcia was credited with (I believe) 4 runs in 1.3 innings when Mike Garcia was responsible. Garcia appeared in 2 games, credited with one. In addition, Manuel Mejia is still owed a home run from a July game in Somerset. I contacted howesportsdata.com about the Mejia mistake, who supposedly contacted the league, yet the problem is not resolved.

Road Warriors lost final game today 6-1 in Lancaster.

And Ian Bladergroen was robbed of a potential extra base hit with men on base to end the game by the first baseman just like what happened on Long Island a couple of weeks ago.

Chuckerd, where you at the game today?

11. chuckerd58 - September 17, 2007

Hi roadwarriorfan,no,I wasn’t at the game,i listened to it on the web. I had to hear the final game,to bad they couldn’t win the finale. Dave Collins gave Jeff Scott plenty of props this weekend for Manager of the Year. Where you there rwf?
