Hirsch Back In Sports: Michael Hirsch, who served as the Long Island Ducks GM from 2002 to 2006, has resurfaced as the president of the NBDL’s Bakersfield Jam.

“I cannot wait to get started in Bakersfield,” said Hirsch in a team statement. “I’m sold on the ownership, I’m sold on the city, and I’m sold on the basketball. The formula is in place for professional basketball to become an entrenched part of the Bakersfield community.”

Mike, any predictions for the season? Long Island looks pretty good. Camden has improved.

What are the Patriots chances? I would love the middle of their lineup if only they had Radmanovich. I fear a repetition of late last year where they just can’t score enough to win.
