Returning Patriots: It appears likely that C Travis Anderson, P Keith Ramsey and 3B Jeff Nettles will be in a Patriots uniform come Opening Day.

OF Ryan Radmanovich’s status for the 2007 season remains unknown…but what really remains unknown is why this guy has to keep coming back to Somerset, he clearly has nothing left to prove to affiliated teams.

Stinnett Ducks Out: According to The New York Times, which has had way too much Atlantic League news lately, C Kelly Stinnett had an agreement with the Long Island Ducks to play for them before agreeing to a minor league deal.

However, the article also mentioned that C Chris Widger, formerly of the Camden Riversharks and the 2005 World Series Champion Chicago White Sox, has yet to find a job.

Jeff Farnsworth Update: To read a PhillyBurbs.com piece on former AL hurler Jeff Farnsworth, click here.

Jason Simontacchi News: Former Bridgeport Bluefish P Jason Simontacchi is competing for a spot with the Washington Nationals this spring, read the Washington Post article by going here.

Koby Perez Article: Click here for a Hudson Reporter feature on former Newark Bears C Koby Perez.

Shameless Plug (Fixed): I’ve created a new blog over at MikeAshmore.com. There’s not a lot going on over there just yet, but to check it out, just click here.

Jeff Ball To Appear on ESPN Radio 1450: Former Surf radio voice John Leon will have possibly former Surf manager Jeff Ball on his radio show tomorrow between 4 and 7PM. Listen online by going to 1450espn.com or e-mail the show at mike@espn1450.com (not me) – Mike Ashmore

Were I not a dumbass and were I able to link things correctly, that wouldn’t have happened.

Thanks for pointing that out though, doubt I’d have noticed. It should be fixed.

Mike,
I’m actually in Peoria and spent time with Fred Uhlman today (Asst GM), post here if there is anything I can do for you.

I actually just made a new post in my blog about the story and its progress, but I certainly wouldn’t turn down the opportunity to add another quote to my story — which is now likely set to run on 3/1.

E-mail me (mashmore@patriotsbaseball.com) and let me know if that’s possible.

Thanks,

-Mike-

Radmanovich is 35 years old. That’s why the bigs aren’t interested. They don’t care how well he plays.

Mike,
What’s the story with the potential Leominster AL team? (Did you see http://www.ballparkwatch.com article?)
