Tommy John To Manage Bridgeport: It’s only appropriate that Tommy John found his way to the Atlantic League. After all, the league has seen more than its fair share of pitchers who’ve had the surgery named after him.

John was named manager of the Bridgeport Bluefish today, signing a three-year deal.

The 26-year Major League veteran won 288 games over his illustrious career, and pitched in three World Series as well. John is a four-time All-Star and brings instant credibility to the Bluefish. – Mike Ashmore

Anyone have any idea who will manage and coach the Warriors next season?

I called Jeff Scott about a month ago and never heard back from him, so I honestly have no idea yet.

If I have time tomorrow, I’ll give Joe Klein a buzz and see what’s going on…
