Inside The Atlantic League: Here’s a complete list of players and front office members who will (hopefully) be doing a Q&A session with you, the readers of atlanticleaguebaseball.com

Al Benjamin
Greg Modica
Chris Eickhorst
John Brandt
Scott Sobkowiak
Keith Ramsey
Jeremy Todd
Ray Navarrete
Adam Lorber

I’m assuming this list will grow, I still have a few more people to call, and I’m waiting on a few others as well.

START SUBMITTING YOUR QUESTIONS NOW FOR SCOTT SOBKOWIAK. Scott is slated to participate on December 6th around 8PM, so this gives you plenty of time to ask away.

Sobkowiak was a member of the 2006 Atlantic League Champion Lancaster Barnstormers, and has also pitched in the majors for the Atlanta Braves. I promised a big leaguer last night, and I delivered.

Scott started his Atlantic League career with the Somerset Patriots and spent most of the season there before his much-discussed departure to Taiwan. He also has experience in the Frontier League as well.

Questions can be sent to mashmore@patriotsbaseball.com

Go here for my 10Q with Scott from 2005, which is easily one of my favorites.

Booth Joins Coaching World: Jeremy Booth, who participated in our first Q&A and split time between the Bears and Patriots in the Atlantic League this season, will be heading back to the Can-Am League for 2007. But the 29-year-old won’t be doing it is a player, he’ll be joining the Sussex Skyhawks as their new hitting coach. Congratulations to Jeremy on this new step in his career.

Riversharks News: Camden is expecting to have an annoucement regarding their new manager around January 1st. I’m waiting to get some clarification on a rather big name in the managerial world they’re talking to, I’ll pass that along if I can get that accomplished.

Ducks News: Frank Boulton and I exchanged voicemails last night (I was apparently too busy elbowing a wall on my way out of the Rangers game to notice my phone buzzing) and it sounds like Dave LaPoint and Don McCormack will be splitting pitching coach duties, for the time being anyway.

Mr. Boulton made a good point in that McCormack was originally brought in as a pitching coach, so he does have expertise in the area. – Mike Ashmore
