Boehringer to Royals: And the yearly mass exodus of players from Bridgeport has begun, with P Brian Boehringer being the latest to leave the club. Boehringer agreed to a deal with the Kansas City Royals, according to Rich Elliott of The Connecticut Post, and the former Yankee could be facing his old mates over the weekend.

Turmoil abounds in AC as the new ownership is outsourcing many of the old faces. There may be more pink slips in store for one of the original franchises.

okay, they fired Ass’t GM John Kiphorn, and the new marketing girl was transferred to Missouri. The big announcer guy and sound man quit 10 min before a game. Who else left or is leaving? Looks like they are actually bringing BACK more familiar faces lately (Beth the onfield girl, original Splash, day staff, same ushers…)

Who is the “many” – I just know of ONE

Wow – back to the Bears for Al? Good luck to him. I think his 1 1/2 years with Surf were his longest with any team (previously having played for the Bears, Nashua Pride, Camden Riversharks, and then Atlantic City Surf). If he can get a grip on his hitting then the Bears are gaining a very worthy talent.
