Cliff Hawks in limbo: While there will be minor league baseball at the much-hyped Xanadu Project at The Meadowlands, it’s seeming less and less likely that the Bergen Cliff Hawks will be the tenants.

Steve Kalafer, who also owns the Bears and Patriots, is still involved in tense negotiations with the developers of the stadium. A March 1st deadline has been set, and if an agreement can’t be reached, both sides may have to go to court to determine what team gets to play in the stadium. – Mike Ashmore
