AL Scoreboard: The Ducks beat the Barnstormers, 8-5. Justin “The Franchise” Davies went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, while Henry Rodriguez extended his hitting streak to 18 games. He’s approaching the season long streak of Jose Velazquez, who got up to 22 or 23 games earlier this year. Todd Erdos picked up his league leading 24th save.

Somerset beat Bridgeport, 6-3, in 10 innings. Kevin Nicholson walked with the bases loaded and Ryan Radmanovich had a two-run single in the 10th to break it open.

Camden beat Atlantic City, 5-4, after scoring three runs in the bottom of the ninth. Lipso Nava went 3-for-3 for Camden, and Dwight Maness was 3-for-5 and scored the winning run.

Nashua beat Newark, 8-2. Jimmy Hurst homered and Mike Torres drove in three to lead the charge.

Amado to Northern League: According to the ever trusty AP wire, The Joliet Jackhammers of the Northern League have agreed to terms with INF Jose Amado, who was reportedly in discussions with the Bluefish for a return to their team. – Mike Ashmore
