Scoreboard: The Patriots beat the Barnstormers, 10-7, in Lancaster. Kevin Nicholson homered for Somerset. Dave Elder got the save for the Patriots. He came into the game with an insane 0.45 ERA. Ryan Minor went 3-5 for Lancaster, but hit into double plays in his last two at-bats.

Nashua beat Camden, 7-5. Joe Nathans went 3-4 with two home runs for the Pride, who are going to lose Jamie Pogue for a while with a back injury. It’s pretty crucial for Nathans to step up, and he certainly did that tonight. Patriot for a day Cam Esslinger (2-1) picked up the win for the Pride.

Bridgeport beat Long Island, 4-2. Brady Raggio picked up the W for Bridgeport, his fourth of the year. Lance Davis threw six scoreless innings for the Ducks, but it wasn’t enough. Justin Lamber faces Josh Kalinowski tomorrow at 1:35.

Atlantic City beat Newark, 8-6. Rayner Bautista continues to be on fire for the Surf, getting three hits and two RBI. Dario Delgado (9) also homered against his former teammate, Andy Zwirchitz. Zwirchitz picked up the loss and fell to 1-3.

Bears moves: The Bears activated P Steve Crampton from the inactive list and placed INF Melvin Falu on the DL. Crampton didn’t attend spring training with the Bears in order to train to be a firefighter, and will remain with the Paterson Fire Department while with the Bears.

Barnstormers signing: They signed OF Steve Van Note, who attended the University of Delaware.

10Q Update: My Ten Questions interviews with Brian Tollberg and Darren Bragg have been posted today, look for the remainder of the new ones to be up shortly. Keep an eye out for the Jimmy Hurst piece, it’s a doozy. – Mike Ashmore
