Thank you very much to everyone who tuned into our broadcast of the Patriots vs. Barnstormers game tonight. Myself and Mike Ashmore had a great time with it and are looking forward to other future broadcasts which we will surely announce.

The Lancaster Barnstormers won their first official game tonight, beating the Somerset Patriots, 6-2, behind a Ryan Minor home run. Brett Jodie suffered the loss for the Patriots, who looked miserable throughout the night. Brent Hoard picked up the win.

The Barnstormers also lost their first “true” player today, just hours before their opener. Aaron Herr, son of manager Tom Herr, was picked up by the St. Louis Cardinals and assigned to Double-A…

Behind Joe Gannon, the Newark Bears picked up their second win of the season, beating the Atlantic City Surf, 7-3…

According to a source, here is what Nashua’s lineup should look like tonight, along with some notes:

1 Peter Bergeron CF
2 David Francia LF
3 Darren Bragg RF
4 Glenn Murray DH
5 Joe KIlburg 3B (This looks to be temporary as Kilburg is slated as 2nd bas and 4th OF)
6 Shane Hopper 1B (Filling in for a sore Kevin Haverbush) Look for Hopper at 3rd later on)
7 Jamie Pougue C (He reported in great shape to play and with a great attitude a real Hobson Guy.)
8 Tomas DeLaRosa SS (Much more seasoned and frankly better then Cordova was more mature professionallly. Very solid SS.)
9 Mike Torres 2B (Played with Brockton last season will be utility infeilder, good range. Kilburg at 3rd moves Torres to 2nd Base.). – Scott Stanchak.
